If you are lost and stumble across us in the Exmoor mist, relax and have a seat in the bar, slowly re-orientating yourself on one of our seven map tables, all containing “glassed in” OS maps of the area!
You may then choose to stay awhile taking advantage of our selection of fine hand-pulled local ales. We are fortunate to be positioned within five miles of two breweries, Cotleigh and Exmoor of Wiveliscombe, both of whom produce some seriously good beer. Our third house real ale is Doombar from Sharps, the Cornish brewery. Various guest beers will also make an appearance from time to time.
Alternatively, you may wish to warm yourself by one of our two wood burning fires whilst sipping on one of our forty malt whiskies (tasting notes supplied!).
Whether you wish to put the world to rights, or merely take it over – Ralegh’s Cross is the place to do it!

We have been inspected twice in the last year by Cask Marque, the independent assessors in the service of cask ale. They score across four criteria; taste, temperature, aroma and appearance. We were delighted to score maximum marks across all three ales, on both inspections!
